PROTOTYPE IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

The prototype implementation phase has now become a branch of technology in which any model is built to real-world proportions in order to test its performance; it can still be modified and, in most cases, is intended to be the first example ahead of series production. These are the so-called concept models, which become a decisive tool for verifying a proposed solution before it becomes irreversible.

More specifically, these are prototypes that largely reflect the physical and mechanical characteristics of the part, since the dimensional aspects represent an investment that, in the case of innovative projects, can considerably reduce the overall costs involved in producing the necessary tooling. In this context, Bussetti & Mazza is always careful to suggest, on a case-by-case basis, the prototyping technology best suited to the most advanced requirements.
